Painting the things we love adds a spiritual quality to
our work. It is so obvious how much you love the mountains
of New Zealand...and to actually live near Paradise is a
blessing.

Have just viewed your latest gallery paintings. They look great .I painted with you at Otaki College some years ago, and have just got back into painting again after a "layoff" Realise now how much experience I could have gained had I kept going all those years!!

To be honest, I had completely forgotten the teaching that I did at Otaki college until I read your comment. Good luck for your new efforts at painting. I wouldn't worry about those lost years – I've discovered that when I have layoff periods, I very quickly get back into the flow of painting once I get started again.
